Our customers are reporting that they received an email from Bluebeam regarding an upcoming URL change. We think it’s great that Bluebeam is notifying you of this, but if you’re already used to simply following our instructions to manage your licenses (i.e., go to www.bluebeam.nl and select “Log In” > Org Admin), then that message isn’t meant for you. It may also be helpful to know that the sign-in process does not work without issues in all web browsers. We have found that it works well in Google Chrome but, for example, does not work well in Brave. We apologize to anyone who has experienced problems as a result.

There is also discussion about ordering additional licenses. This is intended for the U.S. market. You can simply order additional licenses through this website. We’re happy to assist you.

This morning, July 9, there was a brief outage in the Bluebeam online service, which prevented licenses from being issued. Bluebeam has since resolved the issue.

^2/4/25 We regularly get questions about Bluebeam Cloud for Android. If you search the Play Store, you’ll only find “Bluebeam Cloud (Preview),” and that’s not a reliable app to work with. The Bluebeam Cloud app has been working fine on the iPad and in the browser for a while now, and Bluebeam promises to catch up for Android tablet users, but for now, there’s still nothing available. You also can’t use Bluebeam Cloud through your Android tablet’s browser, so expect to have to wait another year or so for this feature.

^3/25/25 A free interim update is once again available for those who have purchased GstarCAD version 2025. Within GstarCAD itself, you can check which version you have by going to Help > > > About. If you see BUILD 241224 (or a higher number), you’re all set. If not, it’s a good idea to download the latest version. If you’re not experiencing any problems with your current version, then you don’t need to do anything. After all, if it works, leave it as is.
