Bluebeam Revu version 20 is already at least four years old, and anyone still using it doesn\u2019t have to pay anything annually. That\u2019s a nice bonus, but please note: Bluebeam has announced that it will be discontinuing the licence service as of 31 July 2026. This means that, from 1 August, you will no longer be able to transfer the licence from one computer to another.<\/p>\n

Our advice: transfer your licence to your best computer.<\/p>\n

Because if that one breaks down, your licence is gone. That\u2019s not a disaster, as you can simply carry on with the lovely new version 21, with all the benefits that brings, but you\u2019ll have to pay for it. So bear that in mind. For example, why not install version 21 on your computer now as a trial version?<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s one more thing.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re still using version 20, even though it\u2019s been upgraded (in which case you pay a lower annual fee that increases by 10 per cent each year), that cheaper version 21 must not be in use by anyone else, as it\u2019s the upgrade to the version you\u2019re currently using.<\/p>\n

Our advice: make a list of who is using which version (20 or 21) and check that there aren\u2019t more licences than you\u2019re entitled to.<\/p>\n
