Privacy Statement

IDEOMA operates in accordance with the legal requirements regarding the handling and storage of
personal data, as set forth in European regulations (the General
Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
We operate with a business-oriented approach, so personal information takes a back seat.
Personal data is collected for the purpose of providing our business partners with high-
, and prompt service and/or to enable us to use their services.
Almost always, our concern is not with the person, but with the company that person works for.
In order to contact individuals by phone, email, or social media, we first record the company details and, if applicable, those of the business units or involved third parties, such as external system administrators. For the individuals involved, we record their first name, gender, preferred form of address, email address, department, job title, and direct phone number. This may be a private cell phone number or even a personal landline at their home address (which is very unusual). We also record, if applicable, the days and times the person is available, as well as links to public personal social media profiles, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
We may ocasionally, and only with express consent, make audio recordings or
video recordings of individuals, such as a group photo of training participants.
We do this because people use our software, are considering using it, or are trying it out at; purchase or are considering purchasing related services; or because we suspect that we can be of business value to them—or, conversely, because we believe they can be of business value to IDEOMA, such as our (potential) service providers and suppliers.
The data is stored in a secure database, and several secure backups are kept in a number of secret locations. The current database is located at on an up-to-date computer behind a firewall, equipped with up-to-date security software. Personal data is only shared with third parties if there is a clear, pre-determined need for doing so, such as providing the manufacturer of the software to be delivered with the details of the license holder (company and contact person). This may be done through a distributor. We keep a record of whom we provide this information to. IDEOMA does not provide any personal details, audio recordings, or visual material regarding our clients to third parties. At the request of an individual or their representative, we will provide or delete their personal data and forward this request to the third parties to whom we have provided this data.
IDEOMA operates—preferably well within—the applicable legal frameworks and licensing conditions, and strives to anticipate upcoming legislation. If you do happen to discover anything in our practices that does not comply with these standards, please let us know, so we can correct it.
