CYPE, design and calculation software for construction

CYPE, the BIM software that once only spoke Spanish, but now travels the world in all major languages, is software that you simply must know if you are about BIM. Whether it’s about quickly generating and calculating a steel industrial building or sizing and detailing a junction where a number of steel and/or timber sections come together, CYPE has solid, no-nonsense software for it, which neatly applies the Eurocode or whatever construction standard is in place.

BIMserver.center

BIMserver.center is the starting point to get acquainted with CYPE. This platform, created with EU money and therefore open, free and neutral in design, is primarily intended for sharing building models and coordinating digital collaboration, think smart libraries and third-party tools. You start by creating an account, after which you get access to the extensive set of tools and libraries created by whoever wants them. CYPE takes care of this, but any software developer or supplier for Construction (in the form of BIM objects) can participate, according to open standards.
